Lifelong Learner

Lifelong Learner status opens a window of opportunity....

At Binghamton University, Lifelong Learner status opens a window of opportunity to those Continuing Education students who have reached the twenty-four credit hour limit. There are many reasons that students choose this road of opportunity. A student may be in a professional capacity only needing certain types of classes to enhance job development or placement. A non-traditional student may only be interested in personal enjoyment or self-improvement. No matter what the reason, Binghamton University gives you the opportunity to continue your lifelong pursuit of higher education. Before this decison can be made, students should consult at length with a Continuing Education Advisor. If you feel this option is for you, then a Lifelong Learner Contract can be signed stating that the student understands and waives all rights in the future to seek entry into any degree program from Binghamton University. For many, this freedom from credit restrictions enables them to pursue continual higher education that fits into their personal life plan.
